Pick the robot by the job it does

EzeBot supplies the PadBot range in South Africa: patrol robots for the perimeter, reception robots for the lobby, delivery robots for the kitchen and corridor. Prices are on request while we confirm local configurations.

Autonomous patrol robots that carry cameras, lights and a voice along mapped routes, so your guards see more of the site from the control room.

The robot flags it. Your team decides.

Selected detections become a request for human review. Operators look through the robot's camera, speak through its intercom or play an approved announcement, then coordinate the response under your site procedure.

Where an S5 earns its keep

Managed sites with repeatable routes, a defined response procedure, and power and signal along the way. Scenes are illustrations, not EzeBot installations.

How each site type is assessed

From site walk to first patrol

  1. 1

    Define

Agree coverage areas, patrol hours and response priorities with your security lead.

  2. 2

    Assess

Walk the routes: gradients, surfaces, people and vehicle traffic, network coverage and a place to charge.

  3. 3

    Demonstrate

Configure the selected functions and test the scenarios that matter on your site.

  4. 4

    Refine

Review which alerts were useful, where operators stepped in and how often rounds completed.

Questions buyers ask first

Does a patrol robot replace security guards?

No. The S5 takes on repeat rounds and observation. It follows commissioned routes, flags selected events for an operator and lets your team speak through it. People still assess what it shows and decide how to respond.

What does the S5 cost in South Africa?

The price depends on the configuration: camera package, thermal option, analytics, connectivity, charging and support. Add the S5 to your quote list or tell us about your site, and we will send a configuration proposal with pricing.

Can it patrol at night and in the rain?

Night rounds use the starlight-grade camera, and thermal imaging can be specified. PadBot publishes a 15 cm water fording depth, which is not an ingress protection rating, so weather protection and operating temperatures are confirmed for your site before deployment.

How long does it run on a charge?

PadBot publishes 10 hours of operating time and a 6 hour standard charge, with automatic or plug-in charging. Runtime changes with route, speed and equipment use, so charging windows are built into the patrol schedule.

What does the site need?

Routes the robot can drive (up to a 25° climb and 10 cm obstacles), a powered charging point, and mobile network coverage along the route. Put the charger, network equipment and control room on backup power so patrols continue during outages.

Does POPIA apply to a camera robot?

Yes. Video and audio of identifiable people is personal information, as with fixed CCTV. The site operator needs a lawful purpose, signage that tells people about the collection, secure storage and retention rules. We raise this during the site assessment; confirm your obligations with your own legal adviser.
